Clinical Risk Consultant
Angie Webster is a Clinical Risk Consultant at Physicians Insurance. She joined the company in 2023 and has more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience.
Before joining Physicians Insurance, Angie was most recently Senior Quality Facilitator and Infection Preventionist at Peace Health in Eugene, Oregon. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade at Bay Area Hospital in Oregon, where she began as an Employee Health/Infection Control nurse, was promoted to Director of Clinical & Professional Development, and served as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer. She also spent 12 years as the District Nursing Coordinator and School Nurse for the Coos Bay School District, and earlier in her career served as Clinical Services Coordinator/Public Health Nurse IV for the Coos County Health Department.
Angie has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout her career. She was an Oregon School Nurse of the Year nominee, a two-time March of Dimes Oregon Nurse of the Year Finalist, and an Alliance for a Healthier Generation Healthy Schools National Champion. She was also honored with the Workforce Champion and Daisy Nurse Leader awards.
Angie’s many professional certifications include recognition as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), LEAN Certification (LSSBB), Certification in Infection Control (CIC), and a Society for Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM-SCP). She holds a master’s degree in Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in Science with a major in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University.
