Her areas of interest include patient rights, worker wellbeing, and health equity, particularly among vulnerable populations. Her work includes responding to ECRI member inquiries with evidence-based information, actionable recommendations for improvement, and tailored tools and resources. Cailin has a Masters in Publishing and is a Certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management.

Jana has held a wide variety of clinical leadership, quality, and safety roles, including oversight of patient safety and continuous quality improvement across an entire healthcare system that included a 700+ bed inpatient hospital, ambulatory care clinics with telehealth capability, ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient dialysis centers, home care service, and correctional facilities. She has led multidisciplinary teams and overseen safety for large-scale efforts such as system-wide electronic healthcare record implementation, partnered closely with nursing, physician and pharmacy leaders, and served on the Medication Safety Committee. She has experience working in healthcare quality with cardiac registries and core measures, and as a patient care nurse in adult intensive care and endoscopy units. Jana earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Biola University, and a Master of Science in Nursing Systems Management with a Graduate certificate in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Human Factors, Healthcare Quality, and Patient Safety

Anne Flitcroft has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, much of it in clinical risk management and patient safety. She is credited with developing several of the risk-evaluation and assessment tools available to PI Members to improve processes and implement best practices. Prior to joining PI, Anne worked as a registered nurse as well as Director of Risk Management, Privacy, and Compliance at an acute care hospital in Oregon.
