Shelly Diener is Director of Business Development at Physicians Insurance. She joined the company in 2023, with more than 25 years of business development experience.
Shelly’s career spans both the insurer and brokerage sides of the business. Before joining Physicians Insurance, she held leadership positions in business development at two regional healthcare-focused mutuals. Earlier in her career, she spent six years as a producer at Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Shelly is active in many industry associations, including the Pacific Northwest Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Idaho MGMA. She currently sits on the board of the Wisconsin MGMA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Risk Management and Insurance from St. Cloud State University.
